Heathfield Group Ltd is a privately owned company that was established in 1995 on a former abattoir and cutting plant site previously known as B.S. Rigby Ltd, and is based on the outskirts of Crewe, Cheshire. The company produces fresh and frozen boneless 80vl pork shoulder and pork belly for manufacturing companies such as Northern Foods, Pork Farms, Palethorpes,Tranfield and Samworth Bros. for sausages, sausage rolls, scotch eggs etc.

In 1999 Tailor Made Rib Co was formed under the same ownership, based on the same site, as a natural progression of the company’s business into purpose-cut fresh and frozen pork ribs and rib racks, again for supply into the manufacturing industry, including customers such as Northern Foods, Kerry Foods, Samworth Bros, Greencore etc for products sold in ALL the leading multiple supermarket groups..

In 2004 Real Ribs was formed to further the company’s business into marinaded, fully cooked, microwavable pork rib products, and is currently producing Burger King BBQ Ribs, Retail and Food Service rib racks which are sold in Spain via Makro, Super Sol and Carrefour.

• Real Ribs is based in Cheshire as a Low Risk/High Risk EC licensed site BRC GRADED FACTORY. Fully Cooked Rib Racks and Sliced Ribs Marinaded then GEL COATED or with SAUCE are supplied exclusively from Tailor Made Rib Co.
• Heathfield Group Ltd also produces a Range of High Quality Raw PORK BACON BELLY and PORK SHOULDER PRIMALS and TRIMS , PORK RIBS , and PORK FAT raw materials for use in comminuted products such as sausages/sausage rolls etc.
