Senior Account Manager, United Kingdom/Europe/Middle East
FIJI® Water is looking for an experienced retail senior account manager to grow our presence in Grocery, Convenience, and other Retail channels across the UK, and manage retail sales along with our distributors on the continent and Middle East. More than your standard “sales job”, we are looking for an exceptional candidate who not only has the drive and ability to succeed, but buys into our philosophy and can act as a brand ambassador to the UK, Europe, and Middle East. Responsibilities:
You will be working independently and with distributors to grow sales, and expand product placement in the retail channel.
• Develop a targeted monthly volume and distribution plan to achieve overall FIJI Water objectives by region/route
• Cultivate key distriubution and account targets, prepare and present sales proposals, and close deals to grow sales
• Secure and expand distribution in assigned trade channels by setting benchmarks and calling on accounts both independently and with distributor personnel
• Work with, train and motivate distributors on company brands
• Manage appointed distributors, implementing brand strategies and objectives
• Create local brand programs in conjunction with distributor/accounts
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels to maximize FIJI Water opportunities for expanded distribution and execution
• Gather and analyze distributor and account sales
• Develop and work within expense budgets to managing company funds to meet profitability objectives
Job Requirements:
• 4+ years of retail experience within the beverage/food industry
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to successfully work and achieve targets and possess strong planning skills to manage the business across the region
• Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative, be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions
• Currently has solid relationships with key retail decision makers in the UK market
• Attend events/functions out of hours if required
• Has lived and currently lives in the London area for the past 2+ years
• University degree
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PP (reporting, presentations, correspondence and
documentation purposes)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the UK and EU
• Ability to coach/train/motivate/Influence/Analytical skills/strategic vision
