Shift: 4 on, 4 off Continental shifts

Reports to: Planning Group Leader
Job Purpose:
To manage a production plan that maximises production efficiencies, utilises Labour availability, ensures exceptional customer service levels, whilst minimising waste.
To ensure availability of all materials required to complete a production plan that maximises production efficiencies, utilises Labour availability, ensures exceptional customer service levels, whilst minimising waste
To ensure we operate effectively by adopting a team working attitude. Always planning ahead, encourages a pro-active thinking to ensure the delivery of the plan in line with agreed business needs.
To deliver agreed PI’s.
To develop excellent cross functional relationships.
Job Accountabilities
To generate an optimum production plans, working to set stock targets, available capacity and material stocks.
To support the production plan with the required materials
Adopts and encourages a strong Team Ethic
Adheres and manages current PI’s
To develop and implement plans to reduce waste within the unit(s) ensuring that lean/continuous improvement techniques are utilised.
Creates a strong team ethic across the business
To develop a strong working relationship with the commercial teams
To develop a strong working relationship with the Buying team
Systems are used correctly and maintained
