The team works primarily on the development of 2-piece beverage cans and the associated Metal Forming processes. The team is responsible for delivering new and improved products and processes and also provides technical support to the European & Middle-East markets. This role will initially support the ongoing development projects and with experience, progress to leading one or more projects.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Produce Engineering Drawings using CAD.
• Measurement & reporting can performance results.
• Planning, conducting and reporting development trials in Wantage and Plants.
• Data analysis using Minitab software.
• Generating Technical records to report project work and preparing and delivering presentations to report progress and results to customers.
Person Specification
Experience:
2 years experience in an Engineering Design & Development role.
Some knowledge or experience of Metal forming processes is desirable.
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or recognised Engineering qualification.
Knowledge:
Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Use of Statistical tools for data analysis (Minitab).
CAD experience (Solidworks).
Experience of mechanical equipment and tooling is desirable.
A second European language would be an advantage.
Travel: Occasional travel within Europe and Middle-East.
